At Kids Cove, our mission is to provide short-term respite care for foster families in Central Missouri. Founded by James and Kate Radford, our journey began with a deep commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of foster children and their dedicated families.

Our Story

The inspiration for Kids Cove emerged from a culmination of experiences – from James' extensive background in business management to Kate's Masters in Ministry to Children, Youth and Families. The Radford family's personal journey, including a period of living on the road and their passion for fostering, paved the way for the creation of Kids Cove Respite Home.
